- Martinsville this week!
- Ted finished 5th here in the spring race.
- There was only one practice due to rain this week and Ted was 13th quick.
- Qualifying was the day of the race and Ted qualified 10th for the race.
- The weather looks good and I will update live this week for those without Speed.
- There were a lot of cautions in the spring race this year.
- Green flag at 3:20!
- Three laps in and Ted got to the low line in 9th.
- Next lap #4 Bliss moves Ted and takes the 9th spot.
- 8 laps in and Bliss continues to move people.
- Lap 9 and Ted makes it to 9th again.
- Two laps later Ted falls 2 spots to 11th.
- Lap 21 and Ted is now 12th.
- Lap 25 and Caution #1 as #16 Scott spins.
- Ted comes into the pits with many others.
- Some of these trucks will try to go the rest of the way on fuel.
- Restart on lap 30 and Ted is 12th.
- Caution #2 as #29 Lynch spins.
- Restart on lap 42 and Ted is 11th.
- Caution #3 for debris a few laps after the restart.
- Restart on lap 48 and Ted is still 11th.
- #2 Bowyer spins low and no caution.
- Lap 54 and Ted is 12th.
- Caution #4 as #23 Benson and #47 Smith spin right behind Ted.
- Restart on lap 71 and Ted is 12th.
- Caution #5 as #1 Leffler spins a few laps in.
- Ted sneaks by the spin.
- Restart on lap 76 and Ted is 11th.
- Lap 81 and Ted is back to 12th.
- Lap 96 and Ted is still 12th.
- Caution #6 as #41 Franchitti gets spun by #09 Clanton.
- Restart on lap 116 and Ted is 12th.
- We hear that Ted has a transmission problem.
- He is having a hard time going from 2nd to 3rd gear.
- We see #51 Busch driving like a maniac.
- Caution #7 as #18 Setzer spins with help from #2 Bowyer a few laps in.
- Restart with 75 to go and Ted is still 12th.
- Lap 132 and Ted is still 12th.
- The splitter that was dangling off Busch's car fell off and out of the groove.
- What is the deal with that?
- If there is a part loose call him to the pits!
- We also see #33 Hornaday SLAM #59 Cook for no reason other than to get his spot.
- I truly hate that type of racing.
- Even I could pass Jeff Gordon if I slammed him loose first.
- Don't tell me thats short track racing cause it aint.
- If you don't at least try to pass clean for a lap or two then you are just plain way too aggressive.
- Caution #8 as #50 Brown hits the wall.
- Restart with 45 to go and Ted is 18th.
- We again see Hornaday ram Cook.
- Caution #9 as #27 Villeneuve hits the wall.
- I am not sure why Ted is so far back right now, he may have pitted.
- On the restart Cook spins Busch for caution #10.
- Ted was probably 17th at that time.
- Green with just 20 laps to go and Ted is 15th.
- Caution #11 as #8 Dassow spins and stalls his truck.
- Restart with 20 to go and Ted is 15th.
- Trucks spin a few laps in again.
- Caution #12 on the day.
- Way too much bumping and banging for any race.
- Restart with 9 to go and Ted is now 13th.
- Major spin right behind Ted who had made it to 10th at the time.
- Many trucks involved.
- Red flag is out with 7 to go.
- Still red flagged.
- Restart with just 3 to go and Ted is 10th.
- The race ends in a caution with Skinner winning.
- All this caused by Hornaday driving like a madman in my opinion.
- Whatever!
- If your a fan of his you like it I guess.
- Ted I believe finished 8th because of the mess.
- Ted is still 7th in points and now -767 back unofficially.
- Atlanta is next.
