- With the win last week Team ASE is looking to keep the wins coming.
- In first practice Ted was 13th quick.
- In the final practice he was 4th quick.
- He would then go on to qualify 12th for the race.
- Before the race Ted said he liked this track because it was kinda like Richmond.
- No news on next year before the race.

- Caution #1 on lap 4 as #10 Starr and #16 Scott wreck.
- Resart on lap 8 and Ted is 11th.
- Caution #2 as #30 Bodine gets loose and spins.
- Ted has to hit the brakes hard as Todd took up the whole track.
- Ted avoids damage.
- Restart on lap 19 and Ted is 10th.
- Caution #3 as #09 Compton spins.
- Restart on lap 26 and Ted is 10th.
- Caution #4 as Starr spins and hits the wall.
- Trucks are pitting.
- Restart on lap 40 of 150 and Ted is now 15th.
- Caution #5 as #99 Darnell wrecks with help from #75 Rogers.
- The race is red flagged because NASCAR can't haul away the #99 truck.
- Restart on lap 51 and Ted is 14th.
- Caution #6 for a wreck as #6 Kvapil and #47 Smith get together.
- Ted gets by the wreck.
- Restart on lap 61 and Ted is 13th.
- Caution #7 as #29 Lynch spins right under Ted.

- 38 to go and Ted is 16th with side by side racing right ahead of him.
- 26 to go and Ted is now 15th.
- Caution #11 as #15 Myers hits the wall.
- This ties a caution record for Phoenix.
- Restart with 20 to go and Ted is 15th.
- 17 to go and Ted is 14th.
- A record #12th caution as Compton wrecks with help from #27 Villenue, #00 Lally involved.
- The race is red flagged again, this time for a damaged inside wall.
- Restart with 10 to go and Ted is 14th.
- Caution #13 for debris??? The action up front was crazy!
- Restart with 6 to go and Ted is still 14th.
- 4 to go and Ted is now 13th.
- 2 to go and Ted is 11th.
- The race ends and Ted finishes 11th.
- Ted is still 7th in points and now -791 back.
- On to Homestead for the last race of the season.
