- It's here.....the last race of the season.
- It has been quite a year.
- The year started out good.
- After 10 races Ted had 8 top-10 finishes with the other two being a 12th and a 20th.
- Then, well let's just call it "the incident" happened at Milwaukee.
- A 34th place finish there and then an un-just one race suspension.
- In the 12 races after Ted had 7 top-10 finishes with the others being 11-12-15-25-27.
- One of those late top-10's was a win at Texas.
- All in all a pretty decent season.
- However, the leaders up front in points had very good seasons.
- Now at Homestead, the track where Ted got his 1st win, Ted hopes to get his latest win.
- Ted would be 16th quick in the first practice session.
- He would then go on to be 14th quick in the final practice.
- Ted would then qualify the Team ASE #9 Toyota 17th for the race.
- On to the race!
- Green flag!
- Lap 2 and Ted is 16th.
- Lap 7 Ted falls back to 17th.
- Caution #1 on lap 15 as #03 spins into the backstretch grass.
- Restart on lap 19 and Ted is 16th.
- Lap 22 and Ted is back to 22nd.
- Lap 27 and Ted is now 19th.
- Lap 39 and Ted is now 18th.
- Lap 48 and back to 19th.
- Lap 55 and the trucks start green flag pit stops.
- Ted pits on lap 58.
- Ted is a lap down in 33rd right now because of the trucks that pitted earlier.
- Lap 72 and now up to 30th one lap down.
- Caution #2 as #5 Skinner's back wheel falls off!
- The tire just misses hitting Ted as it went flying up the track.
- Restart on lap 80 and Ted is 26th one lap down.
- Caution #3 as #27 Villeneuve spins and hits the wall.
- Restart with 51 to go and Ted is 25th one lap down..
- 47 to go and Ted is 23rd one lap down.
- 37 to go and Ted is still 23rd and 11th truck one lap down.
- Speed keeps stopping the scroll and I don't know where Ted is.
- With 12 to go Ted is 23rd still and one lap down.
- 5 to go and Ted is now 22nd one lap down.
- Caution #4 as #08 Jones spins off turn 4 with 2 laps to go.
- Going to be a green-white-checkered finish.
- Race ends with Ted finishes 18th.
- Ted ends up 7th in the points and -799 back.
- Benson wins the race.
- Hornaday gets the championship.
- Ted got caught a lap down and seemed to have a fast truck but not enough grip to complete the pass.
- The season is over and Ted's time at Germain as well.
- We still don't know where Ted will be next year.
