	Ted's first two trips to Kansas yielded a 2nd and a 5th. The next 5 had Ted finishing 15th, 30th,14th,22nd,12th. This year Ted makes the trip with a new team. In first practice Ted was 24th quick with a speed of 165.097. In final practice he was 22nd quick with a speed of 164.674. Ted would go on to qualify 30th for the race with a speed of 166.103. Not sure why the speeds were down. Let's hope they were working on race setup the whole time. I will be home for live updates if you do not get Speedtv. Ted has an in-truck camera today. He also has a new blue helmet. Green Flag at 6:11 p.m! Early on we see Ted's onboard and him working his way around traffic. 3 laps in and Ted is 28th. We also hear that Ted has always qualified in the top-10 at Kansas till this year. 8 laps in and Ted is 26th. #33 Ron Hornaday is out front. 17 laps in and Ted is still 26th. 21 laps in and Ted is now 24th. Caution #1 and Ted pits. While pitting Ted misses the pit box. We hear Ted has had some handling issues and an overheating problem. Restart on lap 31 and Ted is 27th. Lap 34 and Ted is 23rd. Caution #2 for a 2 truck wreck #21 Wood and #4 Compton. Ted had made it to 21st as they were wrecking right behind him. Restart on lap 42 and Ted is 18th. Ted is in the middle of some pretty crazy racing. Lap 47 and Ted is 19th. Lap 51 and Ted is 20th. Caution #3 and Ted pits and finds the pit box this time. #51 Seig hit the wall. Restart on lap 57 and Ted is 22nd. #99 Darnell hits the wall and No Caution. Ted is now 21st. Lap 64 and Ted is now 19th. Caution #4 as #46 Cassill goes into the grass on the frontstretch. Ted does not pit. Restart on lap 71 and Ted is 8th. Ted falls way back on the restart as Hornaday makes it 3 wide. When it all calms down Ted is 14th. Caution #5 as #15 Mitchell hits the wall. Ted makes it by. Restart on lap 78 and Ted is 10th. Lap 81 and Ted is 14th. Ted just doesn't seem to have the truck today. #88 Crafton hits the wall No Caution. Lap 85 and Ted is 12th. Caution #6 as #20 LaGasse hits the wall and stops on the track. Restart on lap 89 and Ted is 10th. We see the #9 swerve at Ted! Caution #7 as Crafton spins. Restart on lap 95 and Ted is 24th. He must have pitted this time. 63 to go and Ted is 23rd and about 5 mph slower than the leaders. Caution #8 as #7 Lally hits the wall hard. Ted makes it by and avoids hitting a flying part. Ted pits. Restart with 56 to go and Ted is 18th. Others came in to top off for a try at making it the rest of the way. Caution #9 as #71 Lia wrecks. Restart with 51 to go and Ted is 12th. Caution #10 as #18 Setzer hits the wall. These cautions may help people make it now. It is getting dark and there are no lights at this track. Restart with 35 to go and Ted is 12th. 30 to go and Ted is 11th. 20 to go and Ted is 12th. 15 to go and Ted is 13th. Caution #11 as #30 Bodine wrecks. All the trucks will probably risk it on fuel now. Restart with 8 to go and Ted is 12th. Caution #12 (a record amount for this track). Ted just gets by the spinning truck of #16 Scott. #60 Cook may have put oil on the track. Restart with 2 to go and Ted is 10th. All the leaders have enough fuel. Ted finished in 10th! Hornaday wins. A great finish considering his truck was a bit off. The Team ASE/Harris Trucking crew did a great job. Ted is now 10 in the points and -148 back. He is also just -39 from 5th in points. Charlotte is next on May 16th. Keep up those top-10's guys! -Quote from Ted after the race: “The front of the truck was bouncing all race long in traffic,” Musgrave said. “It was even worse in traffic. We tried the coil bind setup here for the first time and that’s a situation where you are either right on or you are off by a mile. We were a little off. But the good thing is we were off and we were fighting for a top ten at the end. We need to go test this truck and work on this setup, and once we get it absolutely figured out we’ll be fighting for top fives and wins.” Quote from Danny Rollins: “This coil bind setup is like walking on a razor’s edge,” Rollins said. “When you’re on it you are really good. We were a little off but like Ted said it might as well be a mile. The problem is we never had a chance to really test what we had in traffic. When he pulled up on someone in the race the nose of the truck would bounce all over the place. We never got a chance to run with anyone in practice because every time we pulled up to run with someone they would pull off and come to the garage. It’s just a matter of running this setup in traffic and figuring out what it likes.”
