The truck sereies was in Charlotte for another night race this week. There were two open practices and Ted was 32nd and 25 quick during them. In the final practice before the event, Ted was 20th quick. During each practice Ted did increase his top lap speed. He would then go on to qualify 15th.

The race starts and Caution #1 comes out on lap 5 as #60 Jack Sprague blows a tire. Ted would have to find his way through the spin.

The race restarts on lap 11 with Ted now in 10th. During the next 10 laps Ted would fall back to the 14th position. Lap 32 comes and Ted makes it to 13th and then makes his way to the 10th spot by lap 40.

Caution #2 comes for debris. Ted and most of the other drivers pit. He would come out of the pits in 11th.

Restart on lap 52. Eight laps later Ted moves up to 10th.

Caution #3 flies as #02 Kelly Sutton spins. Most drivers pit and it may be the last of the night for some. Ted would take fuel only and leave the pits 6th.

Restart with 44 to go and Ted is showing the fastest time on old tires.

Caution #4 comes out as Jack Sprague spins.

Restart with 35 to go and Ted is 4th!

Caution #5 is for #6 Mark Martin putting debris on the track. Mark got tangled with #18 Bobby Hamilton Jr. and his tire went down.

Restart with 27 to go and Ted is now 2nd! All the top 5 trucks are now running their fastest time of the night.

Caution #6 as #04 Scott Lagasse Jr. hits the wall.

Restart with just 16 to go and Ted is still 2nd! On old tires he was doing a great job keeping up with the leader . However the fresher tires of #10 Terry Cook and #30 Todd Bodine proved to be a touch too much.

Ted would hold on to finish 4th!
Ted leaves the race 2nd in points just 17 back of Todd.
Another strong finish for the Germain boys!
