On to Ohio and to The City of Mansfield 250. A small track in a small town. Let me also just say that this place is not a favorite of the drivers. They did get practice in and Ted was 15th quick in the first practice and 11th quick in the final practice. Qualifying would go on to be rained out and Ted would start 2nd based on driver points.

Todd Bodine had the pole and decided to take the outside line for the start of the race. Todd would in fact get the lead and stay there for a long time.

The race would prove to be full of cautions and the first would come as two trucks spin in turn one. Caution #2 would be for a slow truck. Caution #3 comes as #02 Kelly Sutton spins. Caution #4 is for another slow truck on the track. Caution #5 is for a two truck spin.

While all this was happening Todd and Ted continue to be first and second. Also there was pitting by trucks during these cautions. Some would even try to make it the rest of the way. Ted and Todd would try to make it to half way and then pit.

Caution #6 for another two truck altercation. The race would restart with 100 to go. During this restart #08 Mike Greenwell in his first CTS start would get the lucky dog. Mike was a favorite of yours truly growing up as a Boston Red Sox fan. Todd Bodine was instrumental in helping Mike get into CTS. Thanks Todd!

Caution #7 on the restart as two trucks spin again. Caution #8 would be an interesting one. The #12 Joey Miller gets black-flagged for loose sheetmetal. He then rubs the wall shaking loose the sheetmetal and in turn causes a caution for debris. Smart move!

This time both Ted and Todd pit. Todd would pit first. Ted would stay out to lead a lap and then pit. Ted then comes out and restarts 29th.

Back to the caution fiesta. Caution #9 for a spin. Ted gained two spots to 27th. Caution #10 for a spin and Ted gained another two spots to 25th. Caution #11 for yet another spin. Caution #12 for a truck hitting the wall. Ted is now 23rd.

Caution #13 would tie a record for the most cautions at Mansfield. Ted would now be 22nd. Caution #14 comes as #21 hits the wall with more than a little help from Mike Skinner. Caution #15 and Caution #16 are both for #22 Bill Lester spinning on the track.

Cation #17 and Caution #18 come and go and Ted would finish the race 16th.

The race would end up with a new caution record for any truck event.
There would be over 80 laps of caution.
Ted may of gotten a better finish if there wasn't so many cautions.
Oh well, on to Dover.
