The Milwaukee Mile
June 22 2007
- Ted is back home in Wisconsin to race in front of family, friends and his fans.
- Ted has finishes at The Milwaukee Mile of 1-4-5-1-3-24.
- Ted did a charity bowling event on thursday and hopes to "bowl" over his fellow drivers on friday.
- I won't update until tommorow well after the race as I am in Milwaukee this week.

- On to the race.......
- Ted would be 2nd quick in the first practice.
- He would then go on to the 4th quick in the final practice.
- Team ASE worked hard all day trying to get that little extra for the race.
- Ted then went on to qualify 8th for the race.
- When the green flag drops Ted is 6th, some trucks must of went to the back.
- Caution #1 on lap 2 as trucks were spinning on turn 4.
- Restart lap 5 and Ted falls to 7th.
- 20 laps in and Ted is still 7th but running same speed as the leader Skinner.
- 30 laps in and still on par with the leaders, ted is now having no trouble passing lapped trucks.
- 37 laps in and #6 Kvapil slips up and Ted takes 6th.
- 45 laps in and Ted is running as fast and sometimes faster than the leader.
- 55 laps in and still in 6th place.
- 58 laps in and again sailing past lapped trucks.
- 61 laps in and Ted is gaining on the leader.
- 65 laps in and Ted is catching a gaggle of lappers.
- Caution #2 and Ted pits for adjustments and service.
- Ted comes out of the pits 7th.
- He could of been 5th but he got pinched at the end of pit road and others went around him.
- Restart on lap 71.
- The leaders get past the lapped trucks and as Ted tries to go by one of them...
- #21 Kelly Bires can't hold the low line and clips Ted as he tries to pass high.
- They both hit the wall with heavy damage.
- When Ted gets going again he finds Bires, who is against the wall again and Ted hits him in the door.
- Well, after that NASCAR throws the black flag at Ted.
- His day is done.
- Ted was interviewed after the race by MRN and said the lapped truck should have shown some more courtasy to the lead lap trucks.
- Ted would end up 34th on the day and took a major hit in points.
- I have nothing else to say about the race.
- On to Memphis.
- A win there would be a nice rebound.
- Update:
- Ted gets suspended for one race and docked 50 driver points.
- Also a fine of $10,000.
- His next race will be at Kentucky on July 14.
