7th Annual Elmer Musgrave Memorial 100

This was the 7th year that Illiana Motor Speedway hosted The "Elmer Musgrave Memorial" race.

Ted signed for the fans both young and old before the feature race.

Jim "Lugnut" Miner stopped by to get an autograph from Ted. Jim is a long time friend of the family. He worked on Ted and Tom's earlier cars before the ASA days.

Ted and his mom got a smile as a young fan brings Ted a box of popcorn.

This years race stayed caution free for quite some time. Boris Jurkovic would win the race from wire to wire! This is the 2nd time Boris has won this race. He won the inaugural race back in 2002.

Last years race was washed out and raced at a later date. The winner of the race was Dave Weltmeyer. Dave qualified 12th for the 100 lap event. The win would be his 300th! Dave had raced against both Ted and his brother Tom in the past. All this made for a very special evening for Dave. Congrats!
