It was a sweltering day for the Toyota Tundra Milwaukee 200. Ted would be 13th quick in the first practice. Then 16th quick in final practice. Ted, his crew and his teammate all worked very hard on their trucks. Ted would find some speed and qualify 5th for the race. Ted dropped back to 7th early in the race and never got lower. He would slowly climb during the race despite being loose. There was a record tying One caution flag during the race. Ted stayed out on the caution to try to lead a lap. However, Ron Hornaday did as well and stayed out one more lap. Ted would work his way to a 3rd place finish. Ted would say at the end that they just couldn't get it right. Well at the end he was one of just Four trucks on the lead lap. Great job Ted! Kansas bound next! |
