	July, 25 2008 Ford Power Stroke Deisel 200 O'Reilly Raceway Park Indianapolis, Indiana Ted has finishes of (6th - 8th - 12th - 14th - 16th - 20th - 23rd - 25th) at ORP. In the first practice Ted was 11th quick with a speed of 105.493 mph. In the final practice Ted was 17th quick with a speed of 105.710 mph. He would then go on to qualify 32nd for the race with a sped of 104.370 mph. Green flag! Lap 5 and Ted is up to 30th. We have already seen some 3-wide racing at this small track. #33 Hornaday made his way to the front. Lap 20 and Ted is still 30th and close to getting lapped. Lap 30 and still in 3oth and I think lapped. It taked 6 laps for the SPEEDtv ticker to cycle through. Caution #1 as the #7 Bell spins on lap 39. I think Ted pitted during the caution. Restart on lap 44 and Ted is 29th and one lap down. There are 25 trucks on the lead lap. Lap 46 and Ted is 28th. Lap 52 and Ted drops a spot to 29th. Ted's top lap speed is about 5 m.p.h. slower than the leaders. Lap 70 and Ted is still 29th. Ted is not improving his lap times so if he did pit earlier it didn't help. Caution #2 as the #16 Scott spins. The leaders are pitting and perhaps for the only time. I can see that Ted does pit this time. Restart on lap 90 and Ted is now 25th. Lap 97 and Ted is still 25th with only 19 trucks on the lead lap. #33 is back out front by the way after restarting 2nd. Lap 107 and Ted drops ack a spot to 26th as #10 Gaughan gets by him. With just 90 laps to go Ted is now 27th. Caution #3 for some reason. Restart with 81 to go and Ted is 27th. Caution #4 with 79 to go for a wreck involving the #4 and #09. Gaughan pushed the #4 into the #09 East and then he got the lucky dog. Caution #5 just after the restart for a wreck. There is a lot of debris on the track. Restart with 67 to go and Ted is 27th. Caution #6 a few laps after the restart as #8 McCumbee blows a tire? Ted goes down low to avoid it. Replays show that the #51 rushed against the #8 and sent him towards the wall. Restart with 60 to go and Ted is 26th. There are now 21 trucks on the lead lap. #5 Skinner was the lucky dog that time. 50 to go and Ted is still 26th. Ted has still not improved his truck. Caution #7 for a spin by the #9 truck. Restart with 43 to go and Ted is 25th. There are 22 trucks on the lead lap. Caution #8 as the #16 truck wrecks. Restart with 32 to go and Ted is 23rd and 2nd truck a lap down. Caution #9 for a wreck. Restart with 22 to go and Ted is 22nd and a lap down. Caution #10 for a big wreck with 14 to go. #88 - #30 - #60 - #2 - #6 are involved. Ted sneaks by the mess on the top side. Ted gets the lucky dog. Restart with 10 to go and Ted is now 20th. Cauton #11 for a spin by the #22 Annett. Restart with 2 to go and Ted is 19th. The race would end and Ted would finish 20th. #23 Benson wins the race. Ted didn't seem to have a truck that could run at the bottom. His crew was unable to improve on it either during the race. The wrecks at the end helped Ted get to 20th. On to Nashville in 2 weeks. Quote from Ted about the race: “We couldn’t get the truck to turn all night long,” Musgrave said. “You need to be able to make it turn to the bottom to be able to get under someone and make passes. We were so tight that we couldn’t make the truck cut in the corner. It’s frustrating because we spent a day testing at South Boston to help work on our short track setup. Indianapolis has never been one of our better tracks but I really thought we were going to be better than that.”
