The race starts and a quick caution. The race restarts with Ted now in 11th a few laps later. We hear from the announcers that Ted was the talk of the garage for this race, dispite he recent run of less than successful finishes.
Caution #2 comes for another spin and Ted restarts still in 11th on lap 24. Caution #3 comes and Ted pits this time. He would hit the #17's tire on the way out. All looked ok and he restarts in 12th on lap 33.
Caution #4 comes and Ted pits again and restarts once again in 12th on lap 55. Caution #5 comes and Ted restarts now in 13th on lap 62. A few laps later and Ted is now 10th. On lap 82 he would be 9th.
By lap 91 Ted is 6th! By lap 97 he is 5th! With just 50 laps to go Ted is now 4th! Some trucks are now green flag pitting to go all the way. With 47 to go Ted is now 3rd. Ted pits with 36 to go under the green flag.
Caution #6 comes for a spin. Ted restarts in 9th. Caution #7 comes and Ted restarts 8th with 14 to go. Caution #8 comes and the race would restart in single file with 8 to go and Ted still in 8th. Then with 5 to go he was 6th. Ted would hold on to that spot and finish 6th!
