- The trucks head to New England to race the 18th race of the season.
- Ted and Team ASE were 8th quick in the first practice.
- Then in final practice they were 5th quick.
- Qualifying would be rained out and Ted would start 7th for the race.
- The sun is out and the race is on!
- Lap one and Ted passes Benson for 6th at the line.
- Lap 10 and Ted is still 6th as the top 5 are pulling away.
- Lap 20 and still in 6th and 7 seconds behind the leader Hornaday.
- Lap 28 and Ted slips by Kvapil for 5th.
- We hear that Ted is loose and needs some adjustments.
- Caution on lap 38 for debris.
- Ted pits for 4 tires, fuel and adjustments.
- Ted is in the pits a long time.
- Restart on lap 43 and Ted is 18th.
- Caution #2 on lap 46 for a spin.
- Ted had made it to 17th by then.
- Restart on lap 50.
- Ted makes it to 16th right away.
- A lap later and he is 15th.
- Lap 55 and Ted is 14th.
- Caution #3 for a big wreck on lap 58.
- Restart on lap 66 and Ted is 13th.
- BTW: There is an annoying whining sound in all the in-truck cameras today!
- Lap 68 and Ted is 12th.
- Lap 72 and Kvapil passes Ted. Ted is now 13th.
- Ted passes Kvapil on lap 80 and then after a few laps of side-by-side racing with Crafton, Ted gets the 11th spot on lap 83 of 200.
- Halfway and Ted passes Schrader for 10th.
- The leader Hornaday is faster than Ted at this point.
- Lap 110 and there are 24 trucks on the lead lap.
- Also on lap 110 Ted passes Benson for 9th.
- Lap 116 and Ted passes Starr for 8th.
- Late in the green flag run and Ted is as fast as the leader now.
- Green flag stops on lap 127.
- Ted pits on lap 128 for tires and fuel. He should make it the rest of the way.
- Lap 136 and Ted is 13th but, he's really 7th as some trucks have not pitted yet.
- Lap 140 and Ted is 11th.
- Caution #4 as Busch spins.
- The rest of the field pits and Ted should be 7th on the restart.
- Restart lap 146 and Ted is 7th.
- Ted is stuck in heavy traffic with 50 to go!
- 40 to go and still 7th.
- 25 to go and Ted is 7th and right behind Crawford.
- 15 to go and they are stacked nose to tail from 4th to 7th.
- End of the race and Ted finishes 7th.
- Ted would catch Crawford but not be able to pass.
- Hornaday wins.
- Ted is now -696 points back and still in 7th place.
- After the race interview with Ted from truckseries.com:
- Ted said he had trouble in the pits and that dropped him back where he put on a show for the fans passing a lot of trucks. He also said they need to just have everthing to click to get that win. And he also said he can't wait to get to Vegas as he really likes that track.
- Again, on to Vegas next week for a night race.
